Students will learn rescue breathing, CPR / two-rescuer CPR, first aid for choking, use of a resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask resuscitator, disease transmission prevention and the systems of the body. And, students will learn when and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator).
To earn CPR and AED certification, students must pass the written test and skill session.

For coaches working in school districts, Basic First Aid is a requirement.*
